Floral nose with flavors of roses, fruit notes of peach, honey, persimmon, sweet mango, nice slate minerality, on the palate very juicy, great mineral-fruit-mix, nicely balanced. 

2013 - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese *** (Golden Capsule)
Nose with caramel, honey, smoky wood, dried fruits. Great palate that is super smooth, caramelized fruits, oily, dried mango, powerful and voluminous. Outstanding.

1999 - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese ** Versteigerungswein
Smooth fruity-mineralic nose, floral, slate, exotic fruits. On the palate crisp acidity, still slightly sparkling, unbelievable after almost 20 years, great slate minerality, spicy, honey, wood. Elegant citrus, exotic finish. Great wine!

1997 - Graacher Domprobst Riesling Kabinett Versteigerungswein (White Capsule)
The wine is so young and vibrant that you would never guess it’s from 1997. The nose is a beautiful elegant mix of grey slate, ripe pineapple and unripe mango, bit of honey, super fine and smooth. On the palate an explosion of crisp acidity and spicy minerality, dense and rich, at the same time fresh and mouthwatering. Not heavy, super easy to drink. Incredible wine that could easily do another 20 years.

Exotic, slate minerality nose. Palate is super smooth and full bodied, powerful. A bomb!

A fruit basket in the nose with stone fruits like white peach, pineapple, mango, honey, slight caramel, on the palate beautiful minerality, great fruit-acidity-play. Just amazing!

1998 - Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Eiswein
A bold nose of caramel, dried apricots and plums, lots of honey and floral notes, on the palate fruity and very juicy, stone fruits, dried fruit, honey, finishes huge with a caramel-plum-mix... Amazing stuff! 

Zeltinger Schlossberg

2006 - Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese (Golden Capsule)
Spicy, smoky raisins, dried plums, dried exotic fruits like mango and pineapple. Palate is dense with dried fruit, honey, floral notes and caramel.

1989 - Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Beerenauslese (Weingut Haus Klosterberg)
Deeply roasted caramel in the nose, apricots chutney, candy floss, wood and spices of clove and pepper, dark chocolate. Intense and powerful on the palate, wood notes, licorice, chocolate again, candied fruits, blackberry. Finishes long again with roasted caramel, pepper and clove. Never tasted anything like this. Outstanding!

Herbal, spicy nose, yellow fruit with peach and apricots. Palate juicy, smooth acidity, spicy finish.

1999 - Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Auslese**
In the nose a great mix of fruits like dried apples, also ripe mango, honey and spices, smoky notes, mandarin peel. On the palate very smooth and balanced, great minerality with almost firestone-like spiciness, lots of honey again, mandarins again, present but very well integrated acidity. Finishes long and smooth with a great honey-spices-mix.

One of the best dry Riesling under 10 Euros! Fresh, citrus, green apples, crisp acidity, nice spices, mouthwatering with a lemon peel, citrus finish.

2011 - Schiefersteil Riesling
Floral and spicy nose, nice minerality, ripe yellow apples, yellow stonefruits, herbs, on the palate lively acidity, very smooth finish with floral notes and spicy minerals. Nice one!
