2011 - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese
The nose is floral-fruity with typical Prüm slate minerality, pear and ripe yellow apple, multiple blossom and floral notes, already honey as well. On the palate fresh and fruity acidity, clear slate minerality with nice herbal spiciness, melon, apple and pear again, finishes long, smooth and elegant.

2009 - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese
It is from the warmer year with big exotic fruit, acidity gently integrated, juicy.

Amazing nose, very promising, with deep exotic fruit elements, aging notes of honey and dried fruits, slightly smoky and nice spices – especially clove. On the palate warm and open, so beautiful complexity, fresh acidity, ripe fruit notes, raisins, honey and spices, all smooth, deep and long. Simply perfect! 

1996 - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese - Versteigerungswein
Ripe exotic fruit notes with lots of dark chocolate, dried fruit, raisins, cassis, slight caramel and honey, bit of orange peel. On the palate elegant and smooth, gentle and juicy, lots of cassis, unripe plums, with beautiful slate spiciness. A legend of a #Riesling in its most brilliant form! 

1995 - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel
Perfect ripe and still fresh nose of exotic fruits, ripe mango and caramelized pineapple, honey. On the palate beautiful elegant acidity, dried fruits, clove, spiciness from the great slate minerality. Everlasting finish with caramel and ripe mango.

Everything about this wine is amazing! It's unbelievably fresh, still strong acidity, hardly any oxidation, slate body, apple, black currant, unripe plums and gooseberry.

Still very elegant with powerful acidity, great but decent fruit notes of peach and gooseberry, good minerality with great slate notes and most of all with great aging notes, especially raisins and caramel...

So good: Fresh in the nose, beautiful moselle slate minerality, slight fruit notes of peach and yellow apples mixed with floral elements, on the palate sweeter fruit notes of pear and peaches. The minerality and the wonderful acidity carry it forever.

Very harmonic nose of exotic fruits, mineral spices, very soft and silky. On the palate spicy, dynamic, powerful and juicy. Ripe pineapple and great minerality in the long finish. Simply brilliant!

Beautiful caramel, candied nuts, creamy, gentle and with great minerality, spices and herbs. Wicked!

1997 - Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese
It is hard to explain what comes to your nose. It is all there can be in the best Moselle Riesling of the world. Beautiful devon slate minerality, stone fruits, honey, herbs, caramel, berries, floral notes, slight quince, on the palate all this elegance of a still lively acidity, beautifully integrated elegant minerality, fruit notes that are clothed in a herbal and spicy coat, wonderful acacia honey and slight caramel and nut elements in the everylasting finsh.

1975 - Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spätlese
It has a very fine and smooth nose of vanilla, wood and licorice, slight black currant. On the palate powerful spicy minerality, notes of pepper, smoke, yellow apples, lemon grass, finishes very long and spicy.
