Saarburger Rausch

2016 - Saarburger Rausch Riesling Kabinett
Fine but complex nose of herbs, sorrel and floral elements, light but spicy minerality, apricots and citrus elements, grapefruit peel, on the palate it moves from candied yellow apples to straight lemon, very elegant, very fresh and cool. One of the most amazing Kabis of 2016! 

2015 - Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese
The nose is super inviting with exotic notes of passion fruits, sweet pineapple and mango, also sweet orange and grapefruit notes come in, nice but soft slate minerality, bit minty. On the palate fresh and juicy, notes of mint again, followed by a lively acidity and ripe citrus style notes, nice minerality, traces of white pepper. Finishes with a juicy-mineralic, mouthwatering mix of mint and ripe grapefruit and orange peel notes. Can’t stop drinking.

2007 - Saarburger Rausch Riesling Auslese
Powerful nose with honey, ripe exotic fruits, herbal notes and beautiful mineralization, on the palate the slate minerality is way more present, with fruit notes of cherries and currants, deep acidity, just wow! 

2003 - Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese
A wine to fall in love with. The nose is floral and spicy with beautiful minerality, vanilla, mandarins, ripe pear, apples and wood notes. On the palate unbelievably smooth, beautiful spiciness from the minerality, finishes everlasting with beautiful spices, herbs and fruit notes of ripe apples and mandarin.

1993 - Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese
A wine that you can buy again in the winery! Fresh, smoky nose with plenty of herbs, camomile, honey, super precise minerality. On the palate elegant fruitiness, yellow fruit, slight mint, citrus unbelievably fresh, like an icy mountain river. Crazy good.

Rausch Diabas

2016 - Rausch Diabas Riesling
You can feel the tension of this wine once you put your nose into the glass: Vibrant spicy minerality, elegant citrus notes, pear, very elegant. On the palate fine and noble, creamy and juicy acidity, soft balanced minerality, long smooth citrus finish. Can’t stop drinking this wine!
