2016 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett
Needs a while to unfold, then a field of herbs jumps into the nose, fresh, nice minerality, on the palate super precise minerality, very closed still, fruit notes of citrus peel, grapefruits and gooseberry. Great Kabinett with massive potential! 

2011 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett
What Egon put in the bottle here is legendary. Crystal clear, smooth but present, fruity but elegant, wonderful minerality, herbs and floral notes. Just perfect! 

2011 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese
All a Riesling nose can offer: beautiful aging with honey and honeysuckle, herbs and spices, slate minerality, fruit notes of cherries, plum, on the palate perfectly balanced and elegant with wonderful acidity, stays forever with minerality, spices and herbs. No wine like this! 

2007 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett
Mouthwatering, complex, mineralic and still super young.

2006 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese
The complexity is enormous, but the wine is quite opulent. Not very typically Egon. The nose is full of exotic fruit, lime honey, raisins, spices and herbs. On the palate already a lot of aging with big honey and dried fruit notes, great spicy slate minerality.

2004 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese
Brilliant, vibrant and dense. Lively and rich. Simply brilliant. This wine has the strange side effect of making us really happy.

1996 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Auslese
So elegant, so on the point, so complex and deep, the best. This wine ages only slowly with first signs of caramel and honey. The structure is still elegant with floral element, spicy and herbs. A monument of Riesling. 

1990 - Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese
Herbal notes, fine mineralization in the nose, amazing freshness of the acidity, more like it is ten years old and not 27! Fruit is balanced with flavors of apricots, pear and green apples. Amazing and heroic. Stays very long.

1995 - Wiltinger Braune Kupp Riesling Auslese
In the nose an aged beauty with great caramel, honey, floral, orange peel, caramelized fig, licorice and chocolate. On the palate a beautiful smooth acidity, creamy with herbs and spices, wood and honey, licorice, orange-grapefruity-style acidity. So elegant, so mature, so delicious.
