2016 - Pechstein Riesling GG
This is truly an elegant beauty you cannot miss. In the nose firestone-like minerality, white fruit and quince, grapefruit peel, but also almonds and pepper. On the palate smooth, elegant, filigrane, great acidity-minerality composition, flying. One of the grand great GGs of 2016!

Jesuitengarten

2015 - Jesuitengarten Riesling Auslese
In the nose great honey, herbal-spicy, melon, caramelized pineapple, ripe apricots. On the palate delicious licorice, smoky, spicy, full-bodied, powerful and round. The finish is long – defined by smoke, pepper and honey. Fantastic!  

Ungeheuer

1997 - Forster Ungeheuer Riesling Beerenauslese
Soft and gentle nose, slight honey, herbs, caramel, dark chocolate, slightly smoky. On the palate elegant sweetness-acidity-mix, raisins, dried fruit, very creamy, everlasting finish with plum, raisins and honey. 

1997 - Forster Ungeheuer Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese
The Reichsrat von Buhl Ungeheuer Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese 1997 is one of the most dense and complex Rieslings we have ever tasted. Like oil in the glass, dried fruits, plum, caramelized fig, wood, smoky, coffee beans, dark chocolate, raisins. On the palate thicker than oil, a beautiful raisin juice with a light acidity, coffee and toffee, keeps breathing in your mouth. Finishes everlasting creamy with dried fruit especially apricots and sweet caramel. Unbelievable!

Reiterpfad “Hofstück”

2015 - Reiterpfad “Hofstück” Riesling GG
Very oily and golden in the glas, powerful oak nose with deep minerality, spicy, smoky, honey, in the palate smooth, acidity very well integrated, berry notes, pear, herbs. Finishes very elegant.

Kieselberg

2016 - Kieselberg Riesling GG
Spicy herbal nose with great loam and limestone minerality, ripe fruit nose, crisp acidity based on the spicy minerality, finishes with great minerality and dry.

Brut Sekt

2013 - Riesling Brut Sekt
This beauty has spent five more years in the bottle since its release in 2013 and the result is simply outstanding. In the nose fine brioche, yeast and nuts, ripe pears, yellow plums and apricots. On the palate fine sparkle and beautiful acidity, notes of yeast and wood wrapped up by freshness and ripe fruit notes. A wonderful Sekt! If you have the chance to still get one from 2013 – it’s only getting better and better. 

Others

2017 - Bone Dry Riesling
The new style of winery Reichsrat von Buhl is very focused on dry, mineral and puristic riesling wines. A concept we truly like. The result are wines like this bone dry Riesling from 2017 – a wine that you can buy for under 10 Euros. The nose is filled with great apples, grapefruit and lime peel and some unripe pineapples, very fresh, very pure, with limestone style minerality. On the palate the Bone Dry is crisp, multiple citrus and lemon flavors, the acidity is very elegant and fresh. The finish is pure with lime and spices.

2017 - Riesling
Clear recommendationr egarding value for money. The nose is full over ripe grapefruits, donut peach but also exotic elements form passion fruit, fresh and clean. On the palate clear spicy minerality, precise and straight acidity, great complexity and depth for a basic wine. Finishes with great citrus and grapefruits notes, mixed with great spices.
