Schwarzer Herrgott

2018 - Schwarzer Herrgott Riesling GG
The nose is beautifully herbal, pepper notes, citrus and lime peel. On the palate dry, with intense acidity that will slowly fade over the years, super racy, powerful minerality, citrus notes, lemon peel, amazing saltiness. 

2015 - Schwarzer Herrgott Riesling GG
Fine nose of apples, black tea, unripe plums and pineapples, lemongrass. Energetic on the palate, powerful acidity, spicy and grabbing minerality, great complexity. Finishes salty and citrusy with slight exotic elements in the aftertaste. Love it!

Saumagen

2017 - Saumagen Riesling GG 
Comes with a nose of yellow fruits, especially donut peach and ripe apricots, some melon and exotic notes from ripe mango, intense herbal notes, the minerality comes very fresh and cool. On the palate smooth with ripe fruit notes, great minerality spices and a fresh and well integrated acidity. Finishes with ripe fruit notes and spicy grapefruit style acidity. 

2015 - Saumagen Riesling GG 
Wonderful limestone nose, yellow fruit with peach and apricots, also melon, spicy and herbal. On the palate dense but fresh, elegant and powerful, perfect fruit-minerality-balance, very long.

Steinbuckel

2019 - Steinbuckel Riesling GG
Fine nose with great spiciness, yellow fruit notes, beautiful herbs, iodicity, great elegance, still very present. On the palate a very nice balance of spices, pepper, yellow fruit and citrus peel. Salty finish. Love it so much.

2015 - Steinbuckel Riesling GG
Beautiful spicy limestone minerality in the nose, grapefruit, quince, unripe gooseberries, green apples, slight wood notes, on the palate precise acidity, great minerals, long, slightly salty finish. Can't get enough.

2010 - Steinbuckel Riesling GG
Definitely at a high level at the moment. Beautiful nose with ripe stone fruits of peach, yellow plums and apricots mixed with perfect mineral spiciness. On the palate powerful, racy and ripe, long and dense, great acidity, fantastic spices. Sticks forever. 

2007 - Steinbuckel Riesling GG
The nose is a dream of deep minerality, clear white pepper note from the limestone soil, salty caramel, dates, ripe yellow stone fruits like peach and apricots, nice herbs. On the palate creamy start followed by a nicely fresh spiciness and beautifully balanced acidity, great depth and complexity, very nice herbal notes, pepper again, tickling the tongue, ripe fruit notes with apricot compote, mango and oranges. Very racy finish, spices all over the place, super creamy and balanced, salty finish. A dream of a matured GG Riesling.

Kirschgarten

2018 - Kirschgarten Riesling GG
Nice nose with yellow fruit, apples, fresh minerality, white pepper, a bit wild. Herbal-spicy on the palate, pepper notes, great length and salty finish. Beautiful creaminess with elegant acidity.

2017 - Kirschgarten Pinot Noir GG
The Kirschgarten is a perfect place for both - Riesling and Pinot Noir. The nose is super elegant and still rich and complex, a cherry-chocolate-nose that is so inviting, milk chocolate mixed with a bit of smoke, ripe cherries mixed with a bit of wood. On the palate a fresh acidity that carries you through a smoky and spicy body, elegant-smooth tannins, nice complexity, wood, quite energetic. A wonderful long finish crowns this perfectly balanced Pinot Noir.

2016 - Kirschgarten Riesling GG
We just love this wine! Great nose with peach, melon and pear. First it seems to be quite heavy but on the palate the it is so delicious and soft. Really amazing limestone minerality and herbs. Just beautiful! 

2016 - Kirschgarten Pinot Noir GG
Do you usually eat your cherries with pepper and salt? No? Maybe you should. The nose is super elegant with all kind of cherries you can think of, sweet and sour, black and red, fine structure, beautiful depth. On the palate great tension, you have all the cherries again, some pepper from the limestone, slight wood, super elegant but with power. Drinks so well!  

2015 - Kirschgarten Riesling Beerenauslese
Powerful fruit basket in the nose with exotic fruit elements like passion fruit, mango, cherry with limestone mineralization, on the palate a wonderful fresh acidity that plays with a sweet and dense body, cherries, ripe plums, raisins but also grapefruit elements. Sure, it will age greatly! But already a bomb today.

2014 - Kirschgarten Riesling GG
Very intense nose with limestone minerality, spicy notes of herbs, fruit notes of peaches and gooseberry, on the palate nice structure, lively acidity that stays long. Great stuff! 

Im Grossen Garten

2019 - Im Grossen Garten GG
A lot of harmony in the nose, spices, yellow fruit, very inviting. On the palate a lot of fun to drink, although high complexity, stony minerality, fresh, elegant acidity, fine fruit, great raciness. Finish racy and creamy. Delicious.

2014 - Im Grossen Garten GG
It has a soft but very nice nose of melon and mango, decent but well structured minerality, on the palate crisp acidity with spicy finish. Great summer wine! 

Steinacker

2017 - Kallstadter Steinacker Riesling
Beautiful juicy and ripe exotic fruit notes in the nose, also yellow fruit notes, not heavy just spicy and fresh, peach and ripe apricots. On the palate smooth start, followed by spicy minerality, the acidity is fresh and very well integrated, great notes of yellow plums, unripe pineapples and ripe mango. Great spices mark the way into a mouthwatering, slightly salty and very long finish. 

Kapellenberg

2019 - Laumersheimer Kapellenberg Riesling Erste Lage
Sandy soil, needs water which it had in  2019. More luscious than other vintages, more fruitiness, especially yellow fruits, apricots, donut peach, juicy.  In the mouth a lot of fruit intensity, more texture, also spices and salt in the finish. But fruit dominates.

2016 - Laumersheimer Kapellenberg Riesling Erste Lage
The nose is very inviting with lots of ripe apples and citrus notes, also herbs and some exotic elements on mango. Very rich on the palate, ripe fruits mixed with great and spicy minerality, fresh and crisp acidity, great tension, bit salty. Finishes super long and rich with ripe fruit and fresh citrus notes.

Burgweg

2017 - Grosskarlbacher Burgweg Riesling Erste Lage
The nose is deeply minerality driven, lots of spices, especially white pepper, some herbs and smoky elements, fruit elements of peach and pineapple, slight melon. On the palate racy acidity with big basket of spices and herbs, deep limestone minerality with lots of pepper notes, rich and ripe fruit elements, peach again, some honey. Finishes with grapefruit peel and spices, very racy. 

Others

2019 Riesling Tradition 
Super accessible in the nose, beautiful fruit, citrus peel, slightly floral, pepper note. On the palate fresh with only 11.5 alc., fine, fresh acidity, juicy, nice creaminess, yellow stone fruit, fine minerality, citrus notes. Fresh and fruity finish, not a simple wine but also not super complicated.

2019 Vom Kalksteinfels Riesling 
Spicy nose with nice green fruit, black pepper. Mouth tight, fresh, juicy. Salty finish, grapefruit, citrus peel. Lots of wine for little money.

2015 Rieslaner Auslese 
Beautiful floral nose with lots of candied fruits, especially ripe gooseberries, ripe yellow plums. Brilliant fruit-acidity-play that is super mouthwatering, ripe citrus flavors, gooseberries and plums again, raisins, some nuts, very dense and rich, still super fresh and juicy. Wicked!
