Pulvermächer

2017 - Pulvermächer Riesling Kabinett
The nose is very inviting with a threefold combination: fruity with green apples and pears, sweet with some lychees, and herbal with some mint-style notes. The palate is a beautiful mix of fresh, crisp acidity that is slightly wrapped by a bit of residual sugar, very easy to drink. Very nice spices and a bit of herbs together with the nice fruit body define the finish that immediately invites you to take the next sip. 

2016 - Pulvermächer Riesling GG
A true rockstar from or own homebase – the #remstal in #württemberg – is called Moritz Haidle @ritzling … He manages the winery #karlhaidle from where we have opened the delicious #pulvermächer #grossesgewächs #riesling #2016 today. A beautiful nose strikes you with lots of orange, physalis, unripe mango and pineapple, and a sweet note of something that might be a mix of almonds, caramel and honey. The palate is defined by a juicy and fresh acidity that in combination with the slightly salty finish makes sure that you can’t stop drinking. A bomb Riesling! 

2011 - Pulvermächer Riesling GG
The nose comes fruity and floral with nice notes of ripe melon, banana and peach, spicy notes. On the palate straight citrus notes, great spicy minerality, crisp acidity, apricots, hints of mint, smooth and silky. Beautiful spicy finish with ripe peaches and apricots, hints of cherry and salt.

Häder

2017 - Stettener Häder Riesling
Very inviting nose of laom style minerality with ripe pear, ripe yellow apples and some banana. On the palate creamy with very nice texture, fresh acidity, very honest, apple and pear fruit notes, some white pepper. Finishes quite racy and mouthwatering with spices and banana. Very nice!

2016 - Stettener Häder Riesling
The Karl Haidle Stettener Häder 2016 is a great companion for a hot summer evening. The nose is very elegant and smooth, filled with a nice spiciness that feels like a chalky firestone, peach, yellow apples, slight exotic notes as well. On the palate crisp and juicy acidity, great spicy minerality. Citrus, lemon peel and spices in a fresh and long finish that ends salty. Love the style of this Riesling! 

Stetten Riesling

2017 - Stetten Riesling Kabinett Pfeffer
The word “pfeffer” is a very nice play by @ritzling Moritz Haidle. Actually, referring the famous Mr. Pfeffer from his hometown Stetten, the German word means actually pepper which gives you a great idea of the spiciness of the wine. It opens with beautiful white pepper notes in the nose, added by herbs, apricots and pear. It closes in a long finish with dark pepper and spicy minerality, on the palate you will also meet a fresh pink grapefruit, some yellow apples and pear and a truly animating combination of citrus fruit based acidity and the elegant fruitiness. A wine to make it through beautiful summer nights!

2013 - Riesling Spätlese
The nose is filled with apples and pear, unripe donut peach as well, loess loam style minerality. On the palate a very fine dry Riesling , nice first aging notes of honey, stone minerality, gypsum style, acidity well integrated, nice complexity. Finishes with a fine fruity mix of apples and spices.
