Steingrüben

2017 - Steingrüben Riesling GG
This winery and winemaker Christian Dautel slowly make it to the top of Baden-Württemberg producers. The nose comes elegant and fruity with a great mix of stonefruits like peach and apricots and exotic fruits like mango and pineapple, beautiful minerality spiciness. The palate starts herbal and spicy, followed by a silky, dry and dense acidity and powerful minerality, lots of spices, slightly smoky flavors. Finishes with a great fine play of grapefruit and spices. A great GG!

Besigheimer Wurmberg

2017 - Besigheimer Wurmberg Riesling
In the nose a nice mix of apples, white peach and good minerality, mixed with citrus flavors, all very inviting. On the palate powerful ripe citrus fruits, a bit smoky, nice fresh acidity and spices in a playful, light mix. Finishes long with pepper notes, floral elements and citrus peel.

2015 - Riesling Auslese
The nose is filled with ripe pineapple notes mixed with yellow stone fruits like peach and apricots, nice spicy minerality. Very soft and creamy on the palate, the acidity is well-integrated and perfectly balanced with the fine sweetness, the minerality offers a great underlay of spices, ripe fruit notes, especially candied pineapples. Finishes super long and fruity. Great stuff!
